How it works

Submit
An AI Practitioner builds a Docker image and submits the job through the CLI. Element AI Orkestrator also manages user access and restrictions to datasets to ensure security.
The AI Practitioner selects a job type: non-preemptable jobs cannot be stopped. Preemptable jobs, by contrast, can be paused to allow for the redistribution of resources, allowing for more flexible and dynamic resource allocation.

Run
Element AI Orkestrator rebalances workload dynamically based on the different jobs submitted by AI Practitioners. Job status is continuously updated, and individual jobs can be accessed.

Monitor
Dashboards are available on both the user job level and the cluster level, providing both IT Administrators and AI Practitioners with a big-picture view of all activity on the cluster, including job resource usage, job performance and efficiency, newly added nodes and areas under maintenance.

Maintain
IT Administrators can view the health status of different GPUs and see which nodes are cordoned off for upkeep. Maintenance of the cluster is done live without affecting jobs that are running.
